Our church food pantry has taken a new form! Our regular operation is no longer serving families as we have been for 40 years. The Eagle Valley Community Foundation has taken over all operation of food distribution and hosts the Community Market providing food for those in need on Mondays from 4-6pm in the same location in our church basement fellowship hall. Check out the link for more information about other distribution times and locations. We no longer accept food donations at the church. Thank you for your understanding.
The United Methodist Church has been in the valley for well over a century, and has always been a center for worship and a force for community service in Eagle and Gypsum. We are a welcoming community, trying to live up to our claim to have “open hearts, open minds, and open doors.”
Our doors are open to everyone in the community. We believe in intellectual honesty—that we are to love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength. We believe we are to love our neighbors with open hearts. We are far from perfect, but we strive to follow Jesus in everything we do.
These are exciting days as we welcome more children and young people to the church every week. We continue to help serve the needs of our greater community through our partnership with the Community Market and weekly Simple Supper, available on Monday evenings. You can find information about these and other things we do on the website. Please take time to look us over online, or even better, come visit us. We would love to meet you.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Sid Spain
